Perry out of Australia women's squad

Mumbai, Feb 10 (IANS): Australia's Ellyse Perry will not play the ICC Women's World Cup Super Six tie against Sri Lanka due to an ankle injury, Cricket Australia (CA) announced Sunday.

CA physiotherapist Claire Stokes said: "Perry has suffered an exacerbation of a pre-existing ankle impingement injury. At this stage we expect her to be fit for the next match against the West Indies."

Australia next play the Caribbean side Wednesday in their last Super Six tie.
