Udupi, Feb 15: In a suspected case of murder, the body of a woman was found in a decomposed state in a drain at Kemmannu here on Friday February 15.
Based on an identity card found near the body, her name is said to be Sushila Baburao K (64) from Mumbai.
The exact cause and date of death is yet to be ascertained. It is suspected that she might have died more than a month ago, as the body was decomposed beyond recognition.
The body was later sent for post-mortem.
