Mangalore: SAC Konkani Institute invites entries for short story competition

Mangalore, Feb 21: The Konkani Institute at St Aloysius (Autonomous) College, will be organising a Konkani short story competition.

The competition is open to all Konkani speaking people between the age group of 21 – 30 years.

The rules of the competition include originality; the story should not exceed 2000 words, should not be published in any media and there shall no indication of any kind of the identity of the competitor on the entry.

The entries must be typed on a computer and the hardcopy must be sent by post. The name of the competitor, age proof, full address, telephone/cell phone and email ID should be on a separate sheet, attached to the entry.

The first prize will receive an amount of Rs 2000; the second prize Rs 1500, and the third Rs 1000. The winners will be contacted individually by the institute.

The organisers have stated the judges decision as final with no mode of communication on behalf of the participants.

Interested participants are requested to send their entries on or before April 30 and should be and marked as:
