Rain likely in Delhi


New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS): It was a pleasant Tuesday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 9.8 degrees Celsius -- two notches above average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast light rainfall in the evening.

"The sky will be clear and will turn partly cloudy towards afternoon. Thunder development or light rainfall is likely in some areas of the city later in the evening," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The maximum temperatures will stay around 25 degrees Celsius, the IMD official added.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. stood at 95 percent.

Monday's maximum and minimum temperatures were a notch below average at 24.2 and 10.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
