Mangalore, Feb 27: Vinola Zeena Rodrigues, ( D/o Baptist and Hilda Rodrigues, Farla, Bantwal) has been awarded with the Doctorate degree in Chemistry for her PhD thesis entitled "Synthesis, spectroscopic and structural studies with some N-(aryl)-substituted amides and sulfonamides"
Her thesis was sucessfully completed under the guidance of professor B Thimme Gowda from Mangalore University presently the Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University.
She has published 63 research publications in the international journal-Acta Crystallographica.
Presently, she is the assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at St Aloysius College.
Vinola is married to Savil Prakash Mascarenhas of milagres Manglore.
