Mangalore: Sandeep Poojary murder case - two arrested in Mumbai

Mangalore, Feb 28: Police on Wednesday February 27 arrested two prime accused in connection with the murder of Sandeep Poojary of Guddekoppalu.

The arrested are identified as Sandesh Karkera and Sachin Bangera, both from Idya in Suratkal.

The duo were arrested from a room in Golden Plaza lodge in Bandra they had booked on February 21. On receiving information about their stay, Surathkal police informed Bandra police.

Under the guidance of Vishwanath, SP of Mumbai west, police officer Daya Nayak and team conducted the operation.

The accused were handed over to Suratkal police on Wednesday.

With this, the total number of arrests in the case stands at seven. Five were arrested on February 22.
