Three held for killing siblings for ransom


New Delhi, Mar 3 (DHNS): A day after the decomposed bodies of two kidnapped siblings were recovered from bushes near Pragati Maidan, investigators arrested three people who kidnapped the kids for Rs 30 lakh ransom and later murdered them.

The mastermind was their uncle, who, till Saturday was pretending to be innocent.

The main accused is Amit Singh, 22, the victims’ maternal uncle, who was arrested along with two associates Shivam Gupta, 19, and Pankaj Kashyap, 19, from their houses at Mandawali on Sunday, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (east) Prabhakar. He added that the fourth accused Abhilash is on the run and police teams have been deputed to nab him.

    I hope all these 4 fellows are hanged within a span of 3 to 6 months. Such cases should be put to absolute fast track court and immediate death should be given.
