Bangalore: Jailed Madani allowed to attend daughter's marriage


Bangalore, Mar 8 (IANS): A court here Thursday allowed Kerala's People's Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasser Madani, in jail here facing trial in the 2008 Bangalore serial blast case, to attend his daughter's marriage in his home state.

Madani had sought permission to go to Kollam from March 8 to 12 to attend his daughter's marriage on March 10 and also visit his ailing father.

    Tax payers money spent on his security should have gone to the victims of the blast. On the contrary the government is spending on his family tours !
    This is what happens when democracy is handled by unfit .
