UAE, Costa Rica discuss trade relations


Abu Dhabi, Mar 9 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Costa Rica discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation and trade.

The talks were held between UAE's Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna Al-Qassimi and the Costa Rican president's special envoy Tomas Duenas.

Trade exchange between the UAE and Costa Rica through the UAE's free zones stood at 238 million dirhams (about $65 million) in the first half of 2012.
