Srinagar, Mar 13 (IANS): Seven people, including five paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers, were killed, and seven others injured Wednesday when terrorists attacked a CRPF camp here. Two guerrillas were also killed in the attack, police said.

A senior police officer told IANS: "Militants attacked a CRPF camp in Bemina area of Srinagar city this morning. There was fierce exchange of gunfire, and two militants were killed. Five CRPF troopers were martyred."

"Seven others -- three civilians and four CRPF personnel -- were also injured in the gunfight," the police official said, adding that the injured were undergoing treatment.
