Sonia says Italy should honour commitment

New Delhi, Mar 19 (IANS): Congress president Sonia Gandhi Tuesday said Italy should honour its commitment given to the Supreme Court on the two marines, accused of killing two Indian fishermen, party sources said.

Supreme Court Monday said that Italian ambassador Daniele Mancini will not leave India after Rome's refusal to send back the two Italian marines Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone to face trial for killing two Indian fishermen, Ajesh Binki and Valentine, off the Kerala coast Feb 15, 2012, mistaking them for pirates.

Sonia Gandhi is understood to have told this to Congress party MPs at the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting held here, sources present at the meeting said.

    Smt. Soniaji,
Your message to Italy is loud and clear.
That's enough to your critics who
were always searching for ways and means to brand you as pro Italy.

Oh ! you are right ! She should have instead be realistic, gone to Italy and praised the marines.

Just as Advani did ? Going to Pakistan and praising Jinnah ?

Which year was it that he got an Oscar for that ?

Oh ! Really she said so ? Its great to have challenged a country of origin while being a prominent political leader of the adopted nation.

Where are our heroes who said that Sonia will loot India and flee to Italy ?
