New Delhi, Mar 23 (IANS): A 49-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a Metro train here Saturday morning, police said.
Rajender Kumar jumped onto the tracks at west Delhi's Uttam Nagar Metro station around 7.30 a.m. as the train was drawing in.
He was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital where doctors declared him dead, said a police officer.
No suicide note was recovered from his possession, the officer added.
"Kumar lived in Uttam Nagar's Jain colony and worked for a private company in Noida. Police is yet to ascertain the reason behind his suicide," said the officer.
