Mulayam praises Advani, says BJP leader never lies

Lucknow, March 23 (IANS): Samajwadi Party (SP) president Mulayam Singh Yadav Saturday publicly heaped praise on Lal Krishna Advani here, saying the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader "does not lie". 
"Advani ji told me that if law and order was not taken care of immediately, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav would be labelled as a failed administrator... I have known him for long and I know that he does not lie," the SP chief said at a function here to commemorate the 103rd birth anniversary of socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia.

Mulayam Singh Yadav asked Akhilesh to take tough measures to contain crime in the state and spruce up the official machinery in the state. 

He, however, added that the media and opposition parties were exaggerating the crime rate in the state and said that in Delhi and other states the law and order situation was worse.

The SP chief also urged the party office-bearers and ministers to work for the interest of the people. "The welfare of the poor, downtrodden and weaker sections should be of prime importance for party workers," he said.

    Advani promised, he will not rest until Ram Mandir is built in Ayodhya... but, never fulfilled his promise & now he is not talking about that issue itself. How can you say, he doesn't lie?

    I can not digest the comments in this forum, which is always a contest between BJP and Congi brigades. It is not right guys. By sticking to your own biased mindset, you are ruining social,inter religious and political fabric of our nation. We should take pride in the social fabric of our country, which is unity in diversity, unique and special in whole world. And you are well aware, politicians always exploit communal and religious sentiments to their own gain.

    Yes, minorities will always have thier fear of BJP for its leaning on Hindutwa, and RSS. But Congress also plays the same communal card, dont you see? If Congress was truly secular, they had enough years in power to contain communalisma nd eradicate it. But they dont want to do that. Because, then you are unable to play the communal card. Thats the truth.
    2014 we need a strong government. We also need a strong opposition, not a divided one. Our choice should be on the merit of every candidate and not by party.
    I think by now we know what Mulayams,Laloos,Mayawathi and ammas are upto. I honestly feel, its time these guys are thrown into dustbin and choice be between Congress and BJP, a two party system.

    Well said Sankappanna.India's growth is paramount. Time has come to elect one of the two national parties or a third National alternative. The story of present day India would not have been pathetic IF congress had the majority to rule on its own without having to rely on jokers like Mamta, Karuna, Maya or Mulayam. Even if BJP comes to power same pathetic scene look at Nitish for example. The how can you rely on Jaya, Biju, Pawar, Naidu and the likes of Gowdas. I would have liked one strong party in power and the second in opposition

    ..Once again same story from Mr.Jossey saldana..as per his verdict, releasing 5 paki terrorist from jail for lives around 200 Indians is great sin committed by Advanis NDA..Grow up brother,there are lot of other incident for which you can balme NDA, not Kandahar tragedy..It was the best action any Govt could have taken..Moreover, if NDA did'nt released then, may be UPA govt has released them as good will gesture during India Pak Mohali cricket match or During Zardari & Raza Parvez Durgah visit..

    No doubt truth will prevail at the end. But Mulayam will pay the praise for telling the truth and praising enemy of Corrupt Congress Party. Some people even said Babri Masjid was demolished on behest of Advani. I feel petty for those people who never knew the history of Babri Masjid even Indian Archeology Department proved that it was constructed after demolition of Hindu Temple. People even now claim that 3 dreaded terrorists were released by Advani’s Order. But they never know the pain of victims of hijacking unless they themselves, their kin or their relatives become one of the victims of hijackers. Let these people visits the house of one of the Taj Hotel Manager who laid down his life for saving others who hails from our region to know the pain of losing something forever in terrorist attack

    Correction: Not 50. It was close to 150. The flight 814 had 176 pax. 27 were released in Dubai. One was killed and several critically wounded. It was a tough decision to release those 3. Remember there was no relative of BJP leader on that flight unlike congress released a bigger terrorist in exchange of Mufti Mohd Saeed's daughter. Jossy Saldana can easily say that BJP's decision then was wrong. If they had not released then thousand others would have claimed the decision (of not releasing)was wrong. There are always two sides to any decision / statement

    Advani always speaks truth. Being a BJP senior leader, he had no hesitation to accept the ILLNESS of KARNATAKA BJP Govt. Usually all other leaders irrespective of party, defends their party.
