Amritsar: Girl gangraped, thrown out of moving car

Mar 26, PTI : A 22-year-old girl has allegedthat she was raped by four men in a moving car in Amrtisar on Monday night.

ADCP crime Harjit Singh Brar said that as per the statement of the girl, she was forced into a car by some men at 8pm on Monday night when she was waiting for a bus to reach home.

The girl alleged that she was repeatedly raped by the four accused for at least 45 minutes and later thrown out of the vehicle, police said, adding the accused are absconding.

The victim is working with a cellular phone company here. The girl was admitted to a Government Civil Hospital where her medical examination was carried out.
A team of doctors have confirmed intercourse but said no injury marks were found on her body, police said.

Brar said call details of the girl's phone show that she received a lot of calls from some particular numbers before and after the incident.
Police suspect that the kidnappers were already known to the victim

Rape! This word was hardly in use in the early days because people valued people and life was precious. Nowadays people commit this horrendous act knowing that they can get away by bribing some cops and with our poor judicial system.
For example in Saudi Arabia, they behead or stone a rapist … That’s the reason people are scared to do any crime there.
If our judicial system was good, even the crimes in India will be minimal.

Its a bit early to judge. There has been pate of Rapes and Crimes reported in India by the media. The authenticity has to be verified. The mobile call records may be vital to the crime. Punjab police known for brutality will soon fix a rat for this crime.

1 . No injury marks on the body 2. Several number of calls on 'victims' cellphone by unknown people .... These yardsticks are enough to say its possible case of consent gone wrong amounting to 'false case'. The recent Law passed by Loksabha not implemented yet ( as confirmed by a govt lawyer ) , govt yet to pass It to all states. Police have already started to extort money from men citing false cases . Also bar council of lawyers have enough PIL to produce before bench to amend law so that false cases severely punished.
