Nithyanand Rao secures all-India first rank in GATE 2013

Kochi, Mar 26: Nithyanand Rao N, hailing from Kochi, secured all-India first rank in the GATE 2013 exam.

Some of his achievements include: all-India rank 243 in Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), 2008, all India top 25 in National Graduate Physics Examination (NGPE) 2008, conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), all-India rank 2 in the entrance exam for MSc Physics of University of Pune, all-India rank 1 in the entrance exam for MSc Physics of University of Hyderabad, several first prizes in all-Kerala Inter-University physics quiz competitions, selected as a Summer Research Fellow by the Indian Academy of Sciences – partially completed a behavioral research project at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, India.

He has worked as assistant editor in Wiley India Private Limited, New Delhi, India.
