Mangalore, Apr 2: A youth, who used to behave indecently in front of girl students since the last some days, was held by the citizens of of Konaje and handed over to the police on Monday April 1.
Harish (32) from Morla in Naringana village used to come to Konaje every day since the last some weeks, and stand in the deserted stretch of a road leading to ladies hostel of Mangalore University. As soon as the girl students, who pass through the road during the lunch hour, came into view, he reportedly used to unzip his pants and point towards his private parts. The girls, who initially neglected him, complained to some local youth, after they found it impossible to handle this unending harassment.
On Tuesday, the youth laid in wait, and caught him when he repeated his obscene act, and handed over to the police station. The Konaje police have registered a case.
