Mangalore: DC assesses electoral counting readiness

Mangalore, Apr 6: DC Harsha Gupta on Friday April 5, visited Canara College and checked with the officials about the arrangements for the electoral counting and the strong room where the electoral machines are to be preserved after the election till the counting.

He had a discussion session with police commissioner Manish Kharbhikar, SP Abhishek Goyal, and other higher officials regarding the security and arrangements to be made.

Gupta finally visited ‘Akashavani’ (All India Radio (AIR)) for a recording related to SVEEP. He spoke to the listeners on AIR regarding the basic criteria and guidelines to be followed and the basic code of conduct pertaining to the elections.
