Bhatkal: One dead, three injured in road accident

Bhatkal, Apr 10: A man was killed on the spot after he was hit by an auto rickshaw while crossing the road near KSRTC bus stand here on Wednesday April 10.

Mohammed Ali Kobatte (70) suffered a blow to his head as he fell head first onto the road. He was immediately rushed to the government hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

A woman identified as Fathima Shifa, resident of Madina colony, and two children who were travelling in the auto rickshaw were injured. The auto overturned after the collision.

The body will be handed over to the family after the post mortem is conducted.
