Moodbidri, Apr 15: After a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle hit his two-wheeler, a youth lost his life in an accident which occurred on the evening of Sunday April 14. The victim has been identified as Kumar (28) from Bijapur district. A grievously injured Kumar died while being taken to a hospital in Mangalore.
In the accident, which occurred at Prantya village near here, a pedestrian and the pillion rider were injured. Pillion rider, Ramesh, as well as the injured pedestrian, Fakirppa, were employed by Giri Constructions. Both the injured are being treated at a private hospital here. The four-wheeler involved with the accident belongs to Jerald Crasta from Takkode, it is learnt.
