Clear day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, April 16 (IANS): It was a sunny morning in the capital Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling at 20.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the year. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"A clear day lies ahead for the capital, with possibility of thundery developments towards evening in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. wavered between a high and low of 58 and 28 percent. Monday's maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 36.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled a degree below average at 20.1 degrees Celsius.
