The awards ceremony was held in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai; Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai deputy ruler and Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority along with heads of government departments.
These awards are established under the aegis of Dubai's Department of Economic Development to improve the standards of businesses operating in Dubai, thus boosting external and internal trade.
