Sandalwood star Shivraj Kumar seeks divine blessings in Mangalore, Udupi

Mangalore, May 13: Sandalwood star Shivraj Kumar visited Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple here on Monday May 13, at 11.30 am.
The actor-producer-television presenter is on a visit to temples across the region.
He was accompanied by his wife Geetha, and other well known actors Gurudath, Rajashekar and others.
The office-bearers of the Temple Sai Ram, Padmaraj, Harikrishna Bantwal, Raghavendra Bantwal, Maheshchandra and others wholeheartily welcomed Shivraj Kumar. He offered special Puja to lord Shiva, the main deity of the Temple and to other deities.
Addressing the media, Shivraj Kumar said that the film industry does not have much expectation from the newly formed government. "The new government needs to focus highly on the welfare of the general public and the overall development of society," he said.
“Ambareesh is a well known star in the Kannada film industry; it would be better for us if he is gets a ministerial berth," he added.
"The work on the construction of Dr Rajkumar’s 'samadhi' is completed, and the inauguration will be done soon,” he added.
He visited Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple and Sringeri Sri Sharadha Temple on Sunday May 12 and Udupi Sri Krishna Temple and Kudroli Temple here on May 13.

Udupi, May 13: Sandalwood star Shivraj Kumar visited Udupi Sri Krishna Math on Monday, May 13.
Speaking to the media he said, "I visited temples at Sringeri, Kollur, Anegudde, Hattiyangadi, Ambalpady, Gokarna and now Udupi. It was my long-term wish to come to Udupi."
"After my father (Dr Raj Kumar), I am the only actor to have shot a record number of films in the coastal region. I prayed on behalf of all. I also prayed that I get a chance to come to Udupi every year," he said.
Regarding his new project Kaddi Pudi, he said it was an experimental movie and audience will be the best judge. "Songs are good and I hope the movie tastes maximum success," he added.
