Two injured in Madurai explosion


Chennai, May 16 (IANS): Two people were injured when an unidentified object exploded in a dustbin in Tamil Nadu's Madurai town Thursday, police said.

The explosion took place around 10 a.m. in the temple town, around 460 km from here.

"Two persons were injured in an explosion of an unidentified object in a dustbin. A police team is ascertaining whether it is a bomb or something else," said a police official in Madurai.
