UAE, China discuss economic relations


Abu Dhabi, May 22 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and China have held talks over their bilateral economic relations.

The talks were held Tuesday between Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the UAE's minister for economy and deputy governor of Chinese Anhui province.

Mansouri said huge potential and opportunities were still untapped for the advancing of economic relations between the UAE and China as trade between the two countries increased 16 times in last 10 years to reach about $40 billion in 2012.
