Puttur, Jan 2: Christian Life Community (CLC) Puttur celebrated its silver jubilee celebrations recently.  Fr Stany b Lobo, parish priest, Angelore, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, parish priest and Fr Maxim Rosario were the chief guests of the programme.

CLC Mangalore unit president Stevan Quadros, St Philomena College principal, Dr John C Miranda were the guests of honour while Fr Bonaventure Nazareth during the special jubilee celebration programme held in the evening.  CLC founder president Maurice Gonsalves too was present on the occasion.  Dr John C Miranda inaugurated the programme.

Puttur parishioner Rose Mary D'Souza, member of national Kabaddi team, Dylan Rego, a state level athlete in short put were felicitated on the occasion alongside all former presidents of Puttur CLC.  Vincent Mascarenhas was honoured as "Person of the Silver Year".

Puttur CLC presented a computer to  the Mai De Deus Kannada Medium School on the occasion.  Later on Pinto Brothers presented a colourful cultural programme.
