Two foreigners kidnapped in Yemen


Sana'a, May 28 (IANS): Unidentified men abducted two foreign tourists in Yemen's Taiz province Monday, said a government official seeking anonymity.

"The two tourists are a couple and believed to be from South Africa," reported Xinhua citing the interior ministry official.

They were abducted by unidentified gunmen from outside a hotel in Howban town, about 250 km from capital Sana'a, he added.
