Kundapur, Jan 4: A devotee of the goddess Mookambika from Pondicherry offered solid gold to the deity on Tuesday.
Businessman Kannan Chettiar, accompanied by his family, offered solid gold weighing 1,579 grammes to the Goddess.
Temple chief priest Sridhar Adiga and Narasimha Adiga performed the rituals connected with the offering.
Temple executive officer M H Kale, priest Vishnumurthy Udupa, supervisor Ramkrishna Adiga were present.
