Hot Thursday in Delhi


New Delhi, June 6 (IANS): It was a hot morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 30.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above average for this time of year. The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"The skies will be clear. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 44 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 69 percent.

The maximum and minimum temperatures Wednesday settled three notches above average at 43.6 and 30.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
