Kolkata, Jun 11 (IANS): Hospitality chain Oberoi Group Tuesday announced the opening of its 252-room luxury hotel in Dubai, the group's first property in the United Arab Emirates.
"We are pleased to present The Oberoi, Dubai, which offers the highest standards of luxury and hospitality" P.R.S. Oberoi, executive chairman of the group, said in a statement released here.
Karim Bizid, general manager of The Oberoi, Dubai, said: "We are confident that it will add tangible value to the hospitality sector in the United Arab Emirates."
In keeping with the group's tradition, the luxury hotel brought an ethos of service with key team members who had been trained at The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, the statement said.
