Doha: Asmat Ali elected president of KTWA

Doha, Jun 19: The fourth annual general meeting of the Kundapur Taluq Welfare Association (KTWA) was held on June 14 here at the Mazza restaurant.

L M Yaseen from Byndoor presided over the function. Sakib Raza Khan, ex-president of KMCA, attended the programme as chief guest.

 

 The programme began with the Qirat recited by Ahmed Shakir Mavad. Mubarak Kodi compered the programme; Akbar Hussain welcomed the gathering which was followed by the activity report relayed by Intikhab Alam and the finance report by Mohsin Sikander. Ashmat Ali delivered the vote of thanks.

The newly elected forum includes the president, Asmat Ali from Tekkatte; vice president GM Sattar from Gangolli; secretary Abdul Rehman MH  from Gangolli.

Other members formed were the joint secretary Mohammed Mohsin Sikander from Gangolli; treasurer  Rayees Mavad from Byndoor; sports secretary Ifthikar Ahamed from Gangolli and public relations headed by Mubarak Abdulla from Kodi.

Executive members for the new year are Nagoor Altaf from Shirur, Iqbal from Navunda, Shehzad from Kundapura, Zainuddin from Basrur, Mansoor Gulvady from Gulvady and Akbar Hussain from Gangolli.
