Power PSUs to give Rs.25 crore for Uttarakhand


New Delhi, June 27 (IANS): Public sector power companies will donate Rs.25 crore towards rebuilding flood-hit Uttarakhand, said a statement Wednesday.

According to a statement, Minister of State for Power (Independent Charge) Jyotiraditya Scindia took the decision in a meeting of the heads of the public sector units in the power sector.

The nine PSUs will select the projects in consultation with the state government, the statement said.
