Abu Dhabi, Jul 3 (IANS/WAM): Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has been awarded the best low-cost airline in the region at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2013.
The award, given recently at the Paris Air Show, recognises the airline's commitment for providing the best quality, low cost travel.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards are voted for by air travellers from 160 countries across the world. This wholly independent survey covers 200 airlines, from large international groups to smaller domestic carriers across all classes of travel.
"We are honoured to be named the Middle East's best low-cost airline by Skytrax, particularly because it is voted for by our customers," said Adel Ali, Air Arabia chief executive officer.
