USA: MAC hosts family get-together

Media Release

USA, Jul 3: The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) had its annual family get-together on June 29. It was another successful event held at the Meadowvale Conservation Park, Mississauga.

There were games, food and prizes galore. Organizers were pumped and the participants were enthusiastic as the games were conducted. All ages (2 years to 60 years) within the community had something to participate in.

Beautiful weather and cool winds contributed to this remarkable day. Amidst all the excitement and entertainment, one could hear the echoes of the blaring megaphone announcements, cheering of the games and sounds of laughter and camaraderie.

Games such as the sack race, the 3-legged race, the lemon and spoon race, water balloon toss, tug-of-war and bingo brought the young and the young at heart together. The scrumptious potluck, the mouthwatering desserts and the evening “ginger” tea culminated in a day well spent with family and friends.

MAC appreciates the generosity of the sponsors: Jane D’Souza, sales rep, HomeLife/Bayview Realty Inc. Brokerage (Direct: 647-926-2165) and Maxim D’Mello of Maxpres Financial Solutions (Contact: 416-473-6729)

MAC thanks all the members and the volunteers for their tireless efforts to coordinate and execute all the events of the day.
