Two killed in Pakistan blast


Islamabad, Jul 7 (IANS): At least two people were killed and 37 injured when a blast occurred at an eatery in Pakistan's Lahore city late Saturday, Dawn reported.

The huge blast was carried out using a homemade explosive device, planted near a deep freezer, said a senior police official, adding the bomb was detonated using a timer device.

The explosion occurred at the ground floor of a three-storey restaurant, situated on food street area of the city's Old Anarkali market.
