New Delhi, July 20 (IANS): It was a pleasant, cloudy morning in the capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 26.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
The met department has forecast rainfall later in the day.
"The sky will remain cloudy. Rain and thundershowers are expected in some areas," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, he added.
Friday's minimum temperature was 25.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the maximum temperature was a little above average at 35.4 degrees Celsius.
