Chennai, Jan 24: South Indian film actress Kushboo has decided to sue a London-based magazine for publishing an ‘immodest’ picture of hers in its latest edition.
Stating this on Monday, the actress’s advocate, Karthikeyan, said that the actress had decided to sue the magazine, Maxim, some time next week, after its Indian edition, "used a morphed picture, depicting her in a two-piece suit."
The picture was published in its latest edition.
He said a criminal defamation suit would be filed in the court of the chief metropolitan magistrate in the city, a criminal complaint against the publisher with the city police under Sec 292-A IPC for violation of an Act, which protects women from indecent representation, and the third in the High Court claiming damages.
The quantum of damage was yet to be decided.
