New Delhi, July 27 (IANS): It was a warm, sunny morning in the capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 26.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the season. The met department has forecast light rainfall later in the day.
"The sky would be partly cloudy. Thunder or light rainfall is likely in some areas of the city. The maximum temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Friday's maximum temperature was a notch above average at 35.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 24.8 degrees, two notches below average.
