Four pickpockets held at Delhi Metro stations


New Delhi, July 27 (IANS): Four pickpockets, including a woman, were arrested from different Metro stations here and money and cellphones were recovered from them, police said Saturday.

Babita, 26, a resident of Rohini, was arrested from Kalkaji Metro Station in south Delhi and Rs.2,500, suspected to be collected by picking pockets, was recovered from her Thursday, police said

Moti Thakur, 19, a Shahdara resident, was arrested the same day from Rajiv Chowk Metro Station while trying to steal an iphone, police said.

Pickpockets Ravi, 32, involved in six cases, and Waseem, 24, were also arrested Thursday from Raja Garden Metro Station in west Delhi, police said.
