Mangalore, Jan 27: The annual vintage car rally was held on Thursday January 26 in the city as part of Republic Day celebrations.  It is for the fourth successive year that vintage car rally has been organized on Republic Day by Mangalore Motor Sport Club.

It's a vintage experience for car-lovers as the vintage beauties went around the city.

A total of 15 cars participated in the vintage rally.   Justine Jeep (1932) and DKW Mobike (1939) of Girish P were the oldest vehicles of the rally.

Other than this, Morris (1936) car belonging to Ganesh Rao, Ford Jeep (1944) of Dr Sudhir Hegde, Morris 8 (1948) of Ganapaty A V, Morris Minor (1951) of Antony D'Souza, Morris Oxford (1951) of Terence D'Souza, Morris Minor (1951) of Srinivas Kini, Ford Prepit (1953) of Girish P V, Hindustan - 14 (1954) of Naresh Kumar, Ronald (1957) belonging to Dr Ganapaty P, Relay Car (1958) belonging to Keshav Ballal, Chevrolet (1962) of Rajvarma Ballal, Chevrolet Impala (1962) of K J Ballal, Fiet (1967) of Dr Ganapaty P, Mercedes Benz (1969) of Navinchandra Suvarna and Volkswagen of Prashant Attavr too took a royal stroll around the city on Thursday
