Aspirants in Science to reap success with Five-in-one
 
Mangalore: Five-in-one, a programme, for the students who decided to pursue specialisation in Science field after completion of their 10th standard, has been introduced by Expert Coaching Institute.
The institute has the fame of training the students to face the students of Karnataka P U Board Science students for their I and II PUC exams, CET, AIEEE and IIT exams.

In the five-in-one package, the students will get good coaching continuously for two years in scientific manner after the SSLC examination. They will also get training for ITI examinations apart from I and II year annual examinations, CET and AIEEE entrance exams.

Special teaching system: As per the special education system by Expert under this package the students will be trained for two years for about 1600 hours on Science in detail.

Some of the important features of the system are that the students will be tought to analyse the topics, answer questions in various types, also give pose tests repeatedly and also analysise the difficult questions of the examinations.

Expert has its own library and desires that the students under training will make full use of it

For the students in the package, the classes will begin from May 1, 2006. The interested students have to write an entrance test. The test will be based on the 8, 9 and 10 standard of Karnataka Board and CBSE.

Kannada conference 2006 on Jan 29

Kasargod: Kerala state Kannada conference 2006, a literary  and cultural programme will be organised at Lalitha Kala Sadana, Kasargod on Sunday.  Karavali Samskrithika Prathishtana, Kasargod, literary and cultural association of Kannadigas will organise the programme in association with Kannada associations.

Karnataka Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Dharwad  general secretary Professor B V Gunjetti will inaugurate the programme at 9.30 am. Kannada Abhivriddi Pradhikara, Bangalore chairperson B M Idinabba will preside.

Karnataka Government chief secretary K Abhaychandra Jain, Karnataka State Warehouse Corporation managing director C Somashekhar, Kannada Abhivriddi Pradhikara, Bangalore secretary A V Prasanna, Karnataka State Electrified Weaving Mills Development Corporation, Bangalore managing director, Mysore Municipal Corporation commissioner A B Ibrahim, DK deputy commissioner H V Parshwanath, Mangalore MLA N Yogish Bhat and Manjeshwar MLA Cherkalam Abdulla will be the chief guests. Annapoorneshwari Temple trustee Horanadu G Bhimeshwara Joshi will also be present.

International watercolour artist P S Punichithaya will inaugurate the art exhibition. Limerick Parishat central committee, Mysore chief executive will inaugurate the book exhibition programme. Various cultural programmes will be organised as part of the function inaugurated by Lalithakala Sadana, Kasargod secretary. National seminar based on, Kannada literature and culture in border areas, will be organized from 11 am.

Kannada Shakti Kendra, Bangalore secretary  R N Chandrashekhara will preside. Senior artists of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi will address the seminar. Inter-state poets conference and limerick conference will be organised at 12.30 am. Siddalinga Desayi, Dharwad will preside over the function.

About 12 poets will participate in the function. Inter-state limerick conference will be organised at 1.30 pm with participation of about 34 artists. South Canara district Limerick Parishat president Ganesh Prasad Pandelu, Manipal will preside over the function.  The valedictory will be held at 3.30 pm.

Government of Kerala sports and youth development department director will preside over the function. Government of Karnataka Information and Public Relations department commissioner K V R Tagore, Mangalore University vice-chancellor K Sundara Naik, Mangalore MP D V Sadanand Gowda,  Karnataka Legislative Assembly member V S Acharya, Kannada Sahitya Parishath, Bangalore former president  Harikrishna Punanoor, South Canara Kannada Sahitya Parishat president  Pradeep Kumar Kalkura and Kasargod MLA C T Ahmedali will be the chief guests. Government of Karnataka Kannada Pustaka Pradhikara, Bangalore president Professor S G Siddaramaiah will deliver the keynote talk.

About 120 senior personalities and seven cultural associations will be felicitated as part of the function. Cultural programmes will be organised at 7 pm. Maitri Mahila Mandali, Sagar will present Dollu-Kunitha, a folklore performance. Chandre Gowda and troupe, Mysore will present Karaga Nrithya, a folklore dance and Bharatanatyam dance programmes. V K M Kalavidaru, Bangalore will stage Bellakki Hindu Bedaryava and Sakshikallu. The students troupe of B Banumayya College, Mysore will present Kayyoorina Kaligalu, a stage play and folklore dance programmes as part of the cultural programmes.
