Mangalore, Jan 28: Akhtar Hussain's photographs Kambla — The Buffalo Race and Shower of Eden have won in the Nature and Human Life categories in the Epson Colour Imaging Contest 2005. Hussian won an Epson inkjet printer and a scanner as prizes.
The contest was a pan-Asian photography contest offering Indian photographers a chance to compete with the best in Asia and win international acclaim and prize money. The organisers say the contest aims to promote digital printing and digital imaging. There were five winners from India in four categories — Photograph, Nature, Human Life and Family Snap.
