Three Maoists arrested near Ranchi


Ranchi, Aug 5 (IANS): Three Maoist rebels were arrested from the outskirts of Ranchi Monday, police said.

According to police, the three were arrested while putting up Maoist posters at Tamar village, which is around 45 km from Ranchi. Police seized one bike, Maoist literature, posters and mobile phones from them.

Maoist rebels are active in 18 of Jharkhand's 24 districts.
