Udupi, January 31: As Kumaraswamy led government will take oath on Friday, Udupi district expects two of its people’s representatives to be included in the ministry.
MLC Dr V S Acharya and K Raghupathi Bhat have chances of getting ministerial berths.
Dr V S Acharya is a senior BJP leader and his name is repeatedly heard in the list of possible leaders.
The JDS-BJP alliance may not give preference to MLAs, but as V S Acharya is close to Yediyurappa and other party leaders, he has chances of getting a ministry.
MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, who is also BJP district president and was among the BJP MLAs on a tour Kodaikanal, may also get a portfolio in the government.
BJP’s victory led by MLA K Raghupathi Bhat in the recent panchayat elections has heightened the chance of getting a ministry.
Both the leaders have camped in the capital, lobbying for a ministry.
