Looking for a sponsor for your adventures? Here's your chance

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 7 (IANS): Leading adventure wear brand Woodland has launched a "Woodland - Adventurer Wanted" campaign to steer young people into an enjoyment of the unpredictable outdoors.

Founded in Quebec, Canada, Woodland speacialises in extreme weather outdoor gear and outerwear.

Harkirat Singh, managing director, Woodland, said the campaign was aimed at getting youth to "experience a one-of-its-kind adventure feast and help to fill the first 'Woodland Extreme Explorer' coveted position".

"Extreme Explorer comes with a million-dollar lifetime experience filled with adventure, fame and glory, fully sponsored by Woodland," Singh said.

All one needs to do to apply is log on to the Woodland Facebook page and submit an application, before or on Sep 14, 2013.

Amol Dhillon, vice president at Woodland, said adventure lay in exploring and learning about nature, and this campaign would offer one that chance.

A jury team of experts on the panel of Woodland will shortlist the entries and the winner as well as the destination will be selected by the three million strong Woodland Facebook community.
