Karachi, Jan 31: Despite Team India fighting with its back on the wall, defiant coach Greg Chappell refuses to give in and insists the visitors can still save the third and final Test against Pakistan.
"This is a very good batting wicket. There are chances that we can win it. But there are better chances that we might save it," an optimistic Chappell told reporters at the National Stadium in Karachi.
"In the last two Tests, we have faced huge totals and we had to try and catch up. But the boys have done it. No one really knows what would happen," he added.
Pakistan finished day three on 511 for five in their second innings on Tuesday to extend their lead over India to 518 runs.
Looking back at the turn of events in the deciding Test, Chappell traced the difference in the teams to the bowling department.
"Fast bowlers have proved to be the difference. They (Pakistan) have got some fast bowlers that we don't have," he said.
