Dubai, Aug 8: Billawas Dubai and Northern emirates (BDNE) one of the premier association for Billawas in Dubai well established in UAE for more than a decade with strong strategy of 'Providing Education to the Poorest of the Poor' as per the teachings of Philosopher Narayana Guru and also 'providing Medical Aid for the real needy', is well known not only in the Gulf but also in India.
So far BDNE has successfully distributed around Rs.78 lakhs to the deserving pupils all these years.
BDNE is all set and scheduled to do this year's Educational Scholarship distribution at President Koragappa Memorial Hall, Shri. Gokarnanatha Kshethra, Kudroli, Mangalore on Sunday August 11 at 10 am.
The function will be graced by Janardhana Poojary, former union minister, K Vasanth Bangera, MLA, H S Sairam, President, Gokarnanatha Kshethra, Kudroli and Sadanand Suvarna, president, Guru Charitable Trust who will be the guests of honour.
The programme as every year will be jointly hosted by BDNE, Gokarnanatha Kshetra and Guru Charitable Trust jointly. President of BDNE, Jitendra Suvarna along with vice president, Krishna Poojary, educational secretary, Uday Kumar Kateel and general secretary, Sudhakar Poojary will also be present during the programme.
Other than distribution of educational scholarships there will be felicitations to the top achievers and also distribution of medial and social aids to the very needy.
BDNE has formed a trust in the same name registered in India with the sole purpose of continuing this event every year and are being well supported by Billawa Community Members in UAE and elsewhere. Guru Charitable Trust Members provides selfless support in identifying the very needy deserving pupils all over Tulunadu and send it to BDNE Dubai to finalise the list every year.
BDNE has invited everyone to come and witness this event and encourage such good noble cause in uplifting people to be self sufficient as per the teachings of Guru Narayan.
