Bantwal, Feb 1: "The new government, which will take charge on Friday February 3, will give prominence to the overall development of the coastal districts. We would give a special attention to sectors like agriculture, fisheries and rural development, since they are the back bone of the economy of these districts," said B S Yediyurappa, who is set to become the deputy chief minister in the new government
He was speaking to the reporters at Kalladka near here after visiting the house of South Province RSS convener Dr Prabhakar Bhat.
The administration of the new government will follow the Atal Bihari Vajpayee way.
Earlier Yediyurappa visited the Shri Tirumala Venkatramana Swami Temple here along with his supporters. MLCs Shobha Karandlaje and Ramchandra Gowda too accompanied him.
