Tokyo, Aug 12 (IANS): Japan's industrial output in June declined by a seasonally adjusted 3.1 percent as compared to May, the ministry of economy, trade and industry said Monday.
A ministry official said data on medicine and components for aircraft contributed to the upward revision, which were not available when the preliminary report was released July 30, reported Xinhua.
The index of industrial shipments was revised by 0.2 percent upward, while the industrial inventories index was unchanged from the previous month.
