Protest in parliament for united Andhra


New Delhi, Aug 13 (IANS): Members of the Congress party including Union Tourism Minister K. Chiranjeevi held protest in the parliament demanding a united Andhra Pradesh.

"All members and ministers have come to show how much Andhra people are angry and we want a united AP," said Chiranjeevi.

Seemandhra MPs have been protesting against the decision to form the new state since the monsoon session of parliament opened Aug 5.

The Congress and the United Progressive Alliance had July 30 endorsed creation of the new state.
