Mangalore, Feb 4: Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia, a new brand car from the dealership of Hindustan Motors, was launched for the region at United Trading Corporation and Workshop  (UTC) at Padil here on Friday February 3.

Vijay Sarathi, brand manager, Hindustan Motors unveiled the car.  UTC managing director Aroor Prabhakar Rao handed over the keys of new Lancer Cedia car to the first customer Santosh Kumar of Puttur, the proprietor of Shivani Soft Drinks.

Shankar, regional manager of Hindustan Motors, UTC directors Aroor Ganesh Rao, Aroor Ramgopal Rao, works manager Sampat, sales manager Surendra, parts manager Ramesh, sales and service advisor Ravi and sales officer Pradeep Kumar were also present on the occasion.

The Lancer Cedia car is available in sports and ordinary models and 6 colours.  The 1999 CC car with 4 cylinders and 115 HP engine is 4,480 mm in length, 1,695 mm in breadth and 1,455 mm in height.  It weighs 1,210 kgs.  The car was launched at Delhi at the beginning of this year and had hit the Bangalore market recently.  The showroom value of the car is Rs 9.87 lac.
